The Galaxy Note 7 was a giant leap in the Note line with a great built and updated S Pen. But then they started to blow up. The successor Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus did enough to regain Samsung’s image as a top notch phone maker. The South Korean phone manufacturer has launched the new Galaxy Note 8 to make up for their past mistakes.
Samsung Note 8 is undoubtedly a great smartphone – it has all the amenities of a usual flagship, and top class dual camera that works wonders.
Does the Note 8 have a safe battery?
After all the chaos that the Note 7 has created with the overheating and catching fire, the smartphone manufacturer has done the following to keep the Note 8 safe:
Introduced an eight point battery check
Battery size has been reduced from 3,500 mAh to 3,300 mAh so that there will be more room for phone’s cavity
Samsung partnered with UL which is an independent certification organization to approve the Note 8

Performance
The Note 8 is one of the latest devices with the Snapdragon 835 chipset. It has 6GB RAM instead of the 4GB RAM in the S8 line. If you are someone which does a lot of multitasking the extra 2GB RAM sure makes a difference. Excluding some slight software issues, the performance of Note 8 was solid throughout the testing. Switching between apps proved to be effortless. There were no issues with playing games with high graphics as well.

Wrap up
The Galaxy Note line were always the forte of Samsung, and that hasn’t changed. If you love doodling on your phone with a pen, you can never find a better device than the Galaxy Note 8. For the others who don’t really care about the S pen, the Note 8 will be a tough sell. It’s definitely a powerful smartphone with futuristic features and an excellent dual camera. But is it worth the price? It’s up to you. While the Note 8 is Samsung’s flagship, it’s not radically better than the S8 Plus and not worth the extra bucks that you will be paying.
